The title was my exact words as I was driving to work today and saw gas was $1.99. I couldn't believe it. I remember when gas was $0.89 when i was in college (1999). And then a couple months ago it was $4.30. I didn't think I'd ever see it below $2.00 again. Glad it is.

Wow, if only California would follow suit! We're still lucky to find gas in the $2.40s.
