I love to learn how to do new things: sew, paint, blog, cook, golf, garden. I don't think we give ourselves enough credit when we have accomplished a new task - big or small. Once you've learned something new do you clap for yourself or wait for others to do it for you? If you are the person who waits, you might be waiting a long time. Starting today, challenge yourself to learn something new, and then give yourself a hand when you've done it. Be your own little cheerleader.
and don't forget practice makes you better...

August activities
I'm not sure why the images keep uploading weird. To the left Dane, the farmer, is watching over his crops. This is the aerogarden that Paul bought me for my birthday. Right now we're growing herbs - the legal kind. Dane keeps getting into trouble though because he's always grabbing them.
Look mom, no diaper!
And my favorite pic. Good morning sunshine! This cute face greets us every time we get him up in the morning. How could you not start off the day in a good mood after seeing this face? He takes after his mama - early to bed, early to rise...
Dane is now learning to walk.
